My HR Hub is pleased to announce its event for the Creative England and Creative Industries Federation Creative Coalition 2020 – ‘Reigniting your people plans’.

On top of our existing partnership with the Creative Industries Federation, announced last month, to offer discounted HR support to their members, My HR Hub is also an official sponsor of the Creative Coalition festival, which runs from November 9th – 11th.

As part of our sponsorship of the festival, My HR Hub will be hosting and delivering Reigniting your people plans exclusively for festival attendees on November 11th at 11:10am.

Our event will feature a hand-picked panel of experts from the East Midlands, who will be coming together to discuss how businesses of any size in the Creative Industries can adapt and evolve their HR and business plans during the pandemic and beyond.

Top to bottom: Rebecca Bull, Craig Chettle MBE, John Stallard, Kat Chu, Debbie Clarke

Panellists will be reflecting on and discussing how their own and other businesses have adapted and fared during the pandemic – including new business opportunities; the importance of leadership and supporting employees during the pandemic; anticipating and preparing business and HR plans for the post-pandemic world, and more.

The session panel will be made up of the following members:

  • Rebecca Bull: Founder and Owner of award-winning HR Consultancy My HR Hub. Rebecca has over 25 years of HR and Business Management experience and has worked closely with businesses in the Creative Industries for much of this time. Rebecca has helped business inside and outside of the Creative Industries adapt during the pandemic.
  • Craig Chettle MBE: Founder and Managing Director of the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies. Craig founded Confetti in 1994 with the vision of providing a platform for young people of all abilities to access the creative industries. He was awarded an MBE in 2020 for services to Entrepreneurship and the Creative Industries.
  • John Stallard: Founder and Managing Director of Warlord Games, John holds 39 years’ worth of experience in the gaming industry. He started Warlord Games from his kitchen table and has now grown it globally with 93 staff and 750 trade customers around the world.
  • Kat Chu: Founder of Katchuniverse, Kat is a fourth-generation Chinese Doctor and Wellbeing expert. She is an active ambassador for the Creative Industries, having spent a large amount of time during the pandemic working with creatives. Kat has helped creatives to find solutions rather than dwell on the problems they are facing.

In addition to our stellar line-up of panellist is our interviewer – multi-award-winning business coach, strategist, and lecturer debbiedooodah.

Will we be taking a deep dive into each of our panellist’s backgrounds and their companies in the run-up to November 11th.
